In July 2017 I was on my way to the first volleyball practice of my senior year when I had a car accident that left me paralyzed from the neck down. The neurosurgeon was not sure what to expect after that day, but here I am, working hard and getting better every day!
“God put each and every one of us here to live an extraordinary life. So go the extra mile, be extra kind, and work extra hard, even when no one is watching; because those are the moments that add up to an extraordinary life.”
– Graduation Speech 2017
This is where I encourage others to live make the most of their lives, no matter what happens!!! You can’t control what happens to you, but you can control how you react!
I share about life with a spinal cord injury and tips that make living with a spinal cord injury a little easier.
And I make watercolor greeting cards!
The first cards I made were during COVID 2020. Since we couldn’t go shopping, I wanted to make something people could give their mom’s for Mother’s Day. I sold more than I expected and many people told me how happy their mom was to have a card made by me. So that became my mission- to spread joy and happiness through my cards. I have been making them ever since! I hope they bring a little bit of happiness to you and each person you share them with.
