Happy Good Friday!!!

Today is the day we remember Jesus Christ’s crucifixion. The son of God was beaten, ordered to carry his own cross and then put to death.

So why is it called Good Friday?

Good Friday is good because Christ showed His love for man and gave the gift of eternal life to everyone who accepts him!

But wait! There’s more!!! Three days after Jesus was crucified, God raised him from the dead.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26.

Easter is one of my favorite holidays! I really enjoy getting together with my family for church, lunch, and all the activities!!!

This year is different though.. We are fighting a virus and we have to be socially distant. We can’t do most of the traditional we are used to but that doesn’t change the meaning behind Easter.

Easter can never be canceled! We can still remember how God sent Jesus to die for our sins, we can still celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and we can still join Desperation Church for the Easter service!!!
