
Looking back over the chaotic year of 2020, it may be a struggle to find things to be thankful for. But, if you think about it, you can be thankful for ANYTHING. Your job, a warm bed to get into after a long, cold day, just waking up today means you have things to be thankful for. All of these things are small, but you can still be thankful for them.
Make thankfulness a part of your everyday life!
Most of the time, Thanksgiving is the only time of the year that we share what we are thankful for, because being thankful is not always natural… It’s easier to focus on what we don’t have, instead of remembering all of the things that we take for granted.
Remembering to be thankful every day has been proven to increase happiness by about 25%., strengthen relationships, and improve health! It helps you view your life differently, and it shouldn’t be limited to one day a year!!! Each day is another day to be grateful for all the wonderful things God has blessed us with!
Today, to come up with a few things you are thankful for. Make it part of your daily routine so it can become a habit for you. Once you become adjusted to looking for things to be thankful for, you will appreciate simple things that you used to take for granted.
I am thankful my for all the movement and strength I have, for my family, and that they all do whatever they can to help me, for the friends I have, that my insurance still covers nursing, and so much more!!!
