December is my favorite time of the year!!!
I love the Christmas lights, music, and watching Hallmark movies every Sunday with Rainie— even though they are sooo cheesy. Everything just feels so cheerful!
Plus, decorating for Christmas is so fun! This year Joey, Rainie, and Jacob came over to put up the tree. We ate breakfast for dinner and played Christmas music. Sounds like those Hallmark movies, right?! Maybe, it will be a new tradition!!!
But, my most favorite part is the presents!!! But, not for me!!!
Sure, presents for me are fun and all, but I loooveee shopping for my family! All throughout the year, I make lists of gifts for everyone so that I have plenty of ideas.
Joey and I always give each other hints about our presents, but he guesses his every single year!
Around 6th or 7th grade, I started making ornaments for each of my teachers and did it every year.
One of those teachers, Mrs. Harbison, recently told me that she still has the ornament I made her in 9th grade. She wanted one that I made this year! It was a so nice to hear that she had kept up with it all these years and that she wanted another one to go with it!

I was so glad that God has given me the ability to be creative, so I could bring a smile to each of my teachers. I loved creating ornaments then, and now I have a few more reasons to love it:
1) I have something that I can still create and share despite my injury.
2) I can use my gift to share with others while I make money from home.
3) Most importantly, I get to bring joy to each person that buys something that I made!
God gives everyone a talent/ skill!
What is yours? Use it for good!!!
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10
