Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there!

Just like that, 4 years of Paper by Janey are in the books- or should I say- in the cards… 🤪

What a journey it has been! From a simple beginning to sending cards all over the world, it’s been an incredible few years.

Let me take you back to where it all began…

It was the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the stores were closed because of COVID-19. I wanted to make something people could order online.

With determination and creativity, I got to work. I made six or seven abstract watercolor paintings, uploaded them to my laptop, and used my assistive technology to add Bible verses. 

Bible verses about being a strong woman like: 

Proverbs 31:25 – “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”

Psalm 46:5  – “God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.”

Proverbs 31:26 – “She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.”

That year, I sent them to my family and friends, and the response was overwhelming—people were not only excited to receive a card made by me but also moved by the personal touch and heartfelt message behind each one.

Encouraged by their support, I decided to make more cards. Paper by Janey was born.

I’ve had the privilege of sending cards all over the globe, spreading smiles and happiness to people near and far.

But more than anything, I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with all of you—to share in your celebrations, offer words of encouragement, and bring a little brightness to your day.

So, as we celebrate Mother’s Day and the four-year anniversary of Paper by Janey, I want to send a thank you to each and every one of you. 

Your support, your kindness, and your love have made it possible, and I am grateful.

Here’s to many more years of spreading happiness, one card at a time. Happy Mother’s Day, and thank you for being part of Paper by Janey!
