It’s almost been ONE year since I made my first

It’s almost been ONE year since I made my first cards!!! The first ones I made were during COVID of last year. Since we couldn’t go shopping, I wanted to make something people could give their mom’s for Mother’s Day. I sold more than I expected and many people told me how happy their mom was to have a card made by me.When I made that first set of cards, I had no idea what it would turn into or how much I would enjoy creating different cards, building my small business, and everything that has come with it! In the past year: — I have made almost 300 sales
— Sent my cards to 12 states + Canada
— Created more than about 50 different designs
— Built my new website (paperbyjaney.com)
— Partnered with 2 stores to carry my cards ( ❤️ @lavishboutiquejasper and @professional_landscaping_inc)
— I have been featured in a podcast (@crewandco ❤️), newspapers and @78online ’s magazine (coming this week!) Thank you to everyone who purchased cards, shared my story/business, and helped make this past year such a great one! I can’t wait to see how much it grows in the next year! SWIPE —> to see me run! (kinda 😁) I have loved to run since my middle school PE Coach talked me into running track. It came easy to me and made me feel good!!! Today, I just knew I could do it. I even told dad, ‟I’m gonna go fast!” But when I started, my legs didn’t work as fast as I had planned. I’m very grateful for all the movement I have and I know it will get better the more I work at it— But I just want to RUN again!!!!! My body just doesn’t do exactly what my mind tells it... yet 😉 How do y’all feel about running? Last year, when the panic of COVID began, I remember hoping we would still be able to celebrate Easter in the usual way- Sunday morning church and a big lunch with my family. As it got closer, I realized there’s no way that would be happening! Now, more than a whole year later, we are making plans for Easter!!! I understand that some people may be concerned about getting the vaccine. But there are many reasons to get vaccinated. It will protect you and others and help end the pandemic. It will help people like me go back to normal life. Most likely, the benefits of getting vaccinated are greater than the risks. I am sure that there are hesitations after any new vaccine is developed. I can’t promise that we won’t all turn into zombies in a few months but I say it’s worth a try 🤷🏽‍♀️ What are your thoughts about the vaccine? #covid_19 #covidvaccine #getvaccinated #vaccinessavelives #happygoodfriday
